CMLRE is participating in a three-day virtual Workshop (12-14th Oct 2021) being convened by The Secretariat of the International Seabed Authority (ISA) in collaboration with the Ministry of Oceans &Fisheries and Institute of Marine Biodiversity, the Republic of Korea on " Enhancing Image-based Biodiversity Assessments to Advance Deep-Sea Taxonomy" . The outcomes of these meetings will provide important input to ISA’s future efforts towards advancing deep-sea biodiversity monitoring and technology development for sustainable management of seabed mineral resources in the Area.
